Valhalla is translated as “Hall of Valor.”  It’s where Viking Warriors go if they die in battle. Basically, Valhalla was the Norse Heaven before the Scandinavians became Lutherans.  Ryan is half Swedish, I am half Norwegian… our immigrant blood is pretty thick.  Water has long been a place of refuge for us, from the lakes of Minnesota to the world’s oceans.  We love to be on, in, around and under the water.

This blog began as our dream was just a glimmer. Now, it’s a reality.  Our home is our Valhalla, our 40-foot Leopard Catamaran and we are setting sail on the adventure of our life… while we still can.

And every day, we learn something new.

To borrow from Bob Asp… this is our Hjemkomst, our ship of dreams.  Thank God, we’re going home.
